To boost turmeric production for economic and health benefits, peasant farmers in Akamkpa, Calabar South, Ogoja and Boki Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Cross River State have been empowered with no fewer than 5000 seedlings and financial support for cultivation of spices in small farms.
