In a bid to boost Nigeria’s agribusiness sector and foreign revenue, the Federal Government in collaboration with stakeholders have resolved to revitalize yam exportation amidst the predicaments facing the commodity.
This was disclosed by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Dr Ernest Umakhihe, during a workshop themed, ‘Repositioning Yam as an Export Crop’ which held in Abuja.
